Bricks of Belonging strengthens community connection across East Sussex by creating welcoming, inclusive LEGO® building sessions where people can build, connect and feel they belong.
Social isolation affects individuals and families across East Sussex. Bricks of Belonging provides a low-pressure, welcoming environment where people can build creatively and connect naturally through shared activity.
Sessions are free to attend (donations welcome) and designed to support wellbeing, confidence and community cohesion.
We are grateful to have already received grant funding support from:
Their support has enabled us to launch and establish sessions locally, helping ensure they remain accessible and free to attend.
While initial funding has allowed the project to begin, ongoing support is essential to sustain and expand sessions across East Sussex.
Venue hire, facilitation, equipment maintenance and materials all require continued investment so the project can continue to offer inclusive, welcoming community sessions.
We invite local businesses to partner with Bricks of Belonging by sponsoring community sessions. Sponsorship directly supports local wellbeing while demonstrating visible commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
If you’d like to explore sponsorship or partnership options, please get in touch — we’d love to build something meaningful together.
Your support helps keep sessions free to attend and enables us to continue reaching more people across the local community.
Ongoing support is vital to ensure Bricks of Belonging can continue.
Our ambition is to expand sessions across Wealden and the wider East Sussex area, making creative community spaces accessible to more residents.
With continued grant funding, business sponsorship and community backing, Bricks of Belonging can grow sustainably while remaining free and inclusive.
